UPGRADE PACKAGES
The evolution of microprocessor technology and personal computers over the years has rendered many gauge computers and electrical components obsolete while the frames and sensors are still providing satisfactory performance.
The RSI Upgrade Package provides a flexible solution to obsolescence issues of older gauging electronics. Upgrade packages re-use the existing radiation sources and measuring frames and can often re-use or upgrade existing detector units, reducing the cost of new spare parts inventories.
Most upgrades require only the installation of a new Main Electronic Cabinet (MEC) and an optional Remote Operator panel. Installation and commissioning are typically completed in a few days, reducing the costly downtime associated with the installation of new gauging systems.
RSI offers upgrade solutions for many legacy x-ray, isotope and coating gauges including: DMC, Radiometrie, I2S, Loral, Weston, Boyle Controls, Accuray, Eberline, IRM/NDC, and Thermo Fisher.
